At Essence, we believe that powerful forces are causing dramatic changes in the world and not all of them are good.
Change creates tension and resistance. Change is never a natural process, it requires facilitation, a catalyst if you will and that is where we come it.
The Essence Foundation & Trust ( EF&T) was created to help harvest powerful creative talents and business acumen, the art of entrepreneurism, and apply them to the social arena.
We are social entrepreneurs and as David Bornstein says, “we are the driven, creative individuals who question the status quo, exploit new opportunities, refuse to give up, all while trying to make the world a better place”.
The mission of EF&T is to take the power of new ideas, products or services and put them in the hands of people who need them to help a part of society, a community or perhaps a single person get ‘unstuck’.
